APICS has more than 200 local chapters in North America, which are divided into 9 geographic Districts. Each District elects a District Manager through a special nomination committee made up of chapter leaders within the District.
The District Manager has a volunteer District support staff to assist with the development and implementation of chapter management training and two-way communication between APICS corporate and the local chapter. These individuals serve on the District Manager Committee and provide support and guidance to enable chapters to meet the minimum standards in promoting the objectives of the Association.
Our local New Mexico chapter is an entire volunteer organization of Supply Chain professionals that organizes networking events, tours and certification classes to benefit the individual Supply Chain professionals, guide the Student Chapter and enrich the business environment.

APICS Student Chapters
APICS has affiliated APICS Student Chapters on college campuses throughout North America. A student chapter’s affiliation with a parent chapter provides students with access to educational programs, networking opportunities, certification exams, and other resources that will help build a stronger career.
Scholarships are awarded by APICS parent chapters based on participation in APICS activities as well as academic achievement.
Student Chapter Management and Recognition Program
The Student Chapter Management and Recognition Program offers student chapters practical guidance from the diverse resources of parent chapters.
